When you visit the website, the web server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the requested address, the amount of data transferred, the previously visited page, and browser and operating system. The purpose is delivering and securing the website; the legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Server logs are deleted after 14 days.

The website is operated on our behalf by our web agency Proplex GmbH (www.proplex.io). It runs on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany) in a data centre in the European Union; Hetzner is engaged as a sub-processor. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Proplex GmbH.

Fonts, scripts, images and videos are loaded exclusively from our own server. We use no analytics, tracking or marketing services, no advertising cookies and no social media plugins.

We use Google Search Console by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to see how our website is found in Google Search. No Google script or cookie is embedded on this website for this purpose; we verify ownership via a DNS record or a meta tag. Visiting our website therefore transmits no data to Google.

Google provides us only with aggregated data from Google Search (e.g. search terms, number of clicks and impressions, average position) that does not allow conclusions about individual persons. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in our website being found (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We only store what is technically necessary to operate the website (§ 165(3) Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021); no consent is required for this:

“NEXT_LOCALE” (cookie) remembers the chosen language, stored for 12 months. “payload-token” (cookie) is only created when logging into the editorial area and lasts for the session. We set no other cookies or entries in your browser’s local storage, which is why the website shows no consent banner.

If you contact us by e-mail or phone, we process your details to handle your request and any follow-up questions (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual steps, otherwise (f)). Business correspondence is kept in line with statutory retention obligations (up to 7 years, § 132 BAO, § 212 UGB); other messages are deleted once they are no longer needed.

The inquiry form collects your name, company, e-mail address, optionally your phone number, the selected division and your message. The inquiry is stored in our content management system and forwarded by e-mail to the responsible contact person. The purpose is handling your inquiry and preparing a quotation; the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Inquiries are deleted automatically 24 months after receipt unless they lead to an order; statutory retention periods then apply.

For applications we collect your contact details, your message and the uploaded documents (PDF). The documents are stored access-protected outside the public web area; only the management and the head of the division concerned have access. The purpose is conducting the application process; the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

If no employment relationship results, the application and documents are deleted automatically 7 months after receipt — as long as possible claims arising from the application process can be asserted. The same period applies to copies in e-mail mailboxes. Longer retention for future vacancies only takes place with your separate, voluntary consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

The map on the contact page is only loaded when you click “Load map”. Your browser then retrieves map images from basemap.at (the Austrian administrative base map, served from servers of the City of Vienna); your IP address is transmitted to this provider. The legal basis is your consent given by the click (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without a click, nothing is transmitted.

The “Plan route” link opens Google Maps in a new tab. Only then do Google’s privacy terms apply; no data is sent to Google beforehand.

Personal data is only received by the staff handling it and by our processors, each under an agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR: Proplex GmbH for hosting and website operation (with Hetzner Online GmbH as data centre operator, Germany) and Resend for sending the website’s e-mails.

Via Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) the website sends us the notification of your inquiry or application — including your details and, where applicable, your application documents — and sends you the confirmation of receipt. The e-mails are sent from a data centre in Ireland; however, Resend stores sending and log data in the USA. The transfer is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Resend is certified (Art. 45 GDPR); standard contractual clauses have additionally been agreed (Art. 46 GDPR).

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR), and the right to withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
